The Basilica of Le Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre is the Shrine of Perpetual Adoration and Divine Mercy, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Construction began in 1875 and continued for forty years under five different architects. Completed in 1914. It is a historic landmark of Paris welcoming every year millions of visitors from all countries.
